Sollten Sie Shavlik NetChk™ Protect 7 als Update über eine bereits lizenzierte Version installieren wollen, so beachten Sie bitte, dass ein Update auf Version 7 vom Hersteller SHAVLIK nur von Version 6.5.3 unterstützt wird.
Bitte aktualisieren Sie zuerst Ihre bestehende Version auf 6.5.3 und führen Sie anschliessend das Update auf Version 7.x durch.
Bitte beachten Sie auch, das SQL 2000 nicht mehr unterstützt wird.

Nachdem Sie NetChk Protect geladen haben, müssen Sie für die kostenlose Trial Edition auf der Webseite des Herstellers SHAVLIK noch einen Demokey anfordern.
Nach der Registrierung erhalten Sie von Shavlik eine eMail mit dem gültigen Key.
Der Demokey schaltet den gesamten Funktionsumfang frei und ist limitiert auf 50 Rechner und 45 Tage Laufzeit ab Erhalten des Demokeys!

Systemvoraussetzungen
Für den Einsatz der Software sind folgende Mindestanforderungen notwendig:
Console
Processor: 500 MHz or faster CPU
Memory: Minimum: 256 meg RAM ( Recommended: 512 meg RAM or higher )
Video: 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher (1280 x 1024 or higher recommended)
Disk Space: 60 meg for application
2 GIG or more for patch repository
Operating System (one of the following):
Windows XP Professional
Windows Server 2003 Family
Windows Server 2008 Family
Note: Shavlik NetChk Protect supports 32- and 64-bit versions of the listed operating systems for both console and target systems.
Note: Windows Vista is not currently supported for use as a console.
Database
Access to a SQL Server database (SQL Server 2005/2008 or SQL Server 2005/2008 Express Edition) is required. If you do not have access to a SQL Server database, the option to install SQL Server 2008 Express Edition will be provided during the prerequisite software installation process.
