Für den Einsatz der Software sind folgende Mindestanforderungen notwendig:

O/S
MailMeter File Archiver supports Windows Server 2000 and 2003.
Please make sure all Service packs have been applied before you begin your installation.

You must be logged on as a Local Administrator to do the installation of the MailMeter File Archiver Server and Agents.

IIS 6.0
Microsoft’s IIS must be installed FIRST and be up and running on the MailMeter File Archiver Server.

Microsoft Components
Both MailMeter File Archiver Server and Agents require these Microsoft components be installed:
NET 2.0
MDAC 2.6 or later
Web Services Enhancements 3.0

Note: For convenience, these components are included in the downloaded MailMeter_FileArchiver.zip file in the “Microsoft .NET 2.0 and WSE 3.0” folder.Be sure to check for updates after installation.

Microsoft SQL Server
A Microsoft SQL Server instance must be installed on the MailMeter File Archiver server - SQL Server 2000, SQL Server 2003 or SQL Server Express Edition with Advanced Services
For most installations, SQL 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services will handle the amount of files managed by MailMeter File Archiver.

Please check for updates and apply all Service packs.

Space for the Archive
The location of the archive can be on the MailMeter File Archiver Server or on the Network – SAN, NAS, or other file server.
You must use UNC path to point to its location. Do not use Mapped Drives.
The account you use to install MailMeter File Archiver must have permission to access this location.
